Rebecca Weiss is a dancer, choreographer, and educator.
She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015. Since VCU, Rebecca has interned with Dance Place, performed with Through the Fourth Wall Productions and ClancyWorks Dance Company, now teaches and works as a marketing coordinator with j.dance in Fairfax, Virginia, and is currently a company member with Jane Franklin Dance.
As a choreographer, I’m able to build and mold movement that compliments a company’s goals and mission. I can creatively produce work that brings a sponsor’s mission statement to life with lively, aesthetically pleasing movement. Audiences will remember it for the artistry and the people who made it possible for them to see, for example, working with local fashion designers to model their designs through movement and performance. All woven together into a theme where art and corporate sponsors are showcased together.
My experience with Rebecca is that she is absolutely reliable and easy to work with. She is fun loving and also disciplined. I could not have asked for a more enthusiastic and creatively engaged dancer.” – Martha Curtis. Virginia Commonwealth University Dance and Choreography Professor. 2016
