On November 17-18 at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans, Sidra Bell Dance New York will be staging the world premiere of MÖNSTER OUTSIDE, a compelling new modern dance work with live, original orchestrated music that will draw a large preferred audience.
An exclusive corporate sponsor opportunity showcasing the sponsor is available.
The title MÖNSTER OUTSIDE is a play on Swedish-English cognate irregularities; in Swedish, ‘mönster’ translates as ‘patterns’. In MÖNSTER OUTSIDE, Sidra Bell Dance New York (SBDNY) is joining forces with innovative Swedish composer Per Störby and his critically acclaimed chamber ensemble New Tide Orquesta, and Sweden’s Visual Relief (projection mapping), to develop a flexibly voyeuristic discourse about the nature of outliers in contemporary society.
Two acts engaging live audiences will marry dance theater, chamber music, projection mapping, vocal scoring, and scenic and lighting design. The work will locate and depict aspects of human joy and despair via the experience of the “outsider”.
Corporate sponsorship exclusivity is possible. Contact: Sarah Nielsen at email@example.com or 202.643.8048.
As a sponsor, you will be in very good company. MÖNSTER OUTSIDE has been made possible by New England Foundation for the Arts National Dance Project Production Award & Musikverket.
