A Life of Dancing.
In Arina Trostyanetskaya’s Own Words
Ever since I can remember, I knew I was a dancer. Many years later, I still define myself that way, because I experience life, and understand myself best through dance.
Dance is life! It is everywhere: how a cat wakes up from a nap, how someone slips on ice, how we run to a bus, how a chef cuts onion and a baby crawls, a bird flies, a leaf falls, a wheel turns. All around us is the endless dance of life. My dream is to live in the world where we are more aware of our bodies, more connected to rhythms of nature, rhythms of cities, in other words: where we perceive Life as a joyful Dance.
I was trained as a classical dancer in Russia, but as soon as I graduated, at seventeen, I left the country and followed my dream, which was to meet and work with Maurice Bejart, in Switzerland. Luckily enough, my dream came true!
I love to share my knowledge both as a dancer and as a dance teacher. My mission in Dance is to wake people up, through developing awareness of their bodies and feelings, learning to move with grace and elegance, building strength, finding feeling of self-worth, learning about themselves, learning about dance as an art form and as a way to communicate with the world.

In Our Words
Arina Trostyanetskaya** overflows with beauty, grace, creativity, sheer strength, and – above all – generosity.
Arina enchants. In Russia, Denmark, Sweden and many more countries in Europe. And in New York. Her performances in premiere presentations like Maurice Bejart’s “Tchekov au Bois Dormant”, her eloquent duet in the 2014 MasterPeace Live Concert, and her lead role in “Nixon in China” at the Swedish Royal Opera are testimony to her skill and standing: the best producers and artists choose Arina to lead them, to teach them, to inspire them, to join them in dance.
For years, Arina has given of her time and knowledge to offer audiences the excellence of her creativity, and her movement. She has shared her knowledge non-stop, often for free, to those would enter the world of dance as participant or spectator. All over Europe from the far north in Sweden to the south of France.
Few have touched as many adults, children, citizens, refugees as Arina, all out of the goodness of her heart. The internet overflows with video evidence of Arina’s commitment to share her skill sets. Few others can match the sheer number of training videos that Arina has put on line solely to benefit others.
Treat yourself to the videos and photos we’ve put here, a small selection of images of such a larger-than-life person as is Arina Trostyanetskaya.
