Meeting and Agreeing: Collaboration Begins

…In their roles as the three lead performing artists for Arc and Sound of Dance, star ballerina and actor Constance Devernay-Laurence together with acclaimed choreographer Jordan James Bridge joined with Pulitzer Prize winning composer David Lang on February 6, 2025 to begin their collaboration for creating Arc and Sound of Dance. The agenda?

• Deciding how they should tell a story about the creation of a first-ever “immersive film-first” dance work.
• Deciding why they should tell it.
• Deciding how to write that story so that it will not only appeal to global audiences but also show the evolution of someone’s momentary escape into imagination into a compelling story of how an immersive dance performance was created to be seen all around the world.
