A recent graduate of the University of Minnesota’s music program acclaimed for her skills as classical pianist, Sarah Nielsen comes to NPAFE with a passion both for music and across-the-board artistic creativity in general. Involved heavily in music and the arts from a young age, Sarah brings proven skills in creative thinking, problem solving, and entrepreneurship; she is lending those talents to NPAFE as part of the NPAFE team defining its social media and corporate outreach strategy.
Entrusted for years by her own clients and those of All Things Musik in Minneapolis to teach piano to students young and old, Sarah was also chosen as President and Vocal Captain in the UMN’s Gold Standard Show Choir. There, she quickly lent her past experience working in retail to direct the Show Choir to acknowledged success.
In the process of achieving these goals, Sarah has deepened her leadership and artistic skills: show production, social media and marketing – plus problem solving, group conflict resolution among a performance team of 25, implementing marketing strategies to increase attendance, growing audience share, and raising substantial funding to offset production costs. All that plus retail sector experience managing teams, handling money, and new team member training.
Bottom line: Sarah is self-motivated, patient, adaptive, a proven on-the-spot problem solver, a seasoned public speaker, and a respected performer and producer in her field. NPAFE is fortunate that she is helping us reach out to the world of performing artists and their corporate sponsors. (back to Team page)
